It has been quite a while since our last post, and the surreal game against the Duke Blue Devils in the NCAA basketball tournament. While we didn't pull off the cinderella upset, our presence was definitely felt. Now, months after that incredible run, our miracle bearcats are back in the NCAA tournament once again - this time for Baseball!
After head coach Kevin Broadus led BU to its first ever tournament berth, the Bearcats baseball team is doing its part to put Binghamton sports on the map. It took just eight years in Division I sports for the bearcats to take the America East title in both Basketball and Baseball. We finished the season with a record of 29-20, and enter the dance as the four seed against top seed East Carolina, a formidible foe. The game will be played at home for the EC Pirates this Friday at 7:00 P.M. This is another major victory in what will hopefully be a long and rich history of Binghamton Bearcats sports dominance, once again proving that Binghamton (really is) better than you.
